US stocks performed well on Thursday, with easing geopolitical tensions and robust latest US economic data stimulating positive market sentiment. All three major indices recorded gains at the close. The US dollar trended lower, the US 10-year Treasury bond yield fell back to around 4.24%, the gold price hit another record high, while oil prices were volatile and slightly softer.

Today, the three major Hong Kong stock indices collectively opened higher. The Hang Seng Index opened up 0.87% at 26,861.36 points, the Hang Seng Tech Index rose 0.96%, and the Hang Seng China Enterprises Index gained 0.96%. Across the market, technology stocks generally advanced, with Alibaba rising over 3%, JD.com up over 2%, Bilibili and Kuaishou gaining over 1%, while Baidu fell nearly 1%. Commercial aerospace stocks opened higher, with Junda Co., Ltd. surging over 5%. Most new consumption concept stocks rose, with Pop Mart advancing over 4%. Gold stocks saw broad increases, with Chifeng Gold climbing over 4%.
