Dragon King Group (08493) Plans to Lease Hong Kong Property for New "Dragon King" Restaurant

Stock News2025-12-23

Dragon King Group (08493) announced that on December 23, 2025, its indirect wholly-owned subsidiary, Chi Lung (as tenant), entered into a lease agreement with GentleForest (as landlord) for a property located at Shop G/F and Staircase Shop at 153 Sai Yee Street, Kowloon. The lease will commence on January 1, 2026, for a term of two years, to reopen a new "Dragon King" restaurant.

Unlike the group's previous restaurant in Wan Chai's commercial district shopping center, this property is a street-level shop in Mong Kok's prime location. The new restaurant is expected to attract higher foot traffic, catering to a diverse customer base across different social strata and benefiting from increased tourist visits.

Given the property's existing layout, facilities, and decor are largely intact, only minor preparatory work is required before operations begin, enabling a cost-effective and swift opening. The group plans to operate the new restaurant under the brand name "Mong Kok (Dragon King) Seafood Restaurant," offering Cantonese cuisine featuring fresh seafood, soups, and refined stir-fried dishes suitable for group gatherings, corporate entertainment, and small private dining.

The "Mong Kok (Dragon King) Seafood Restaurant" is expected to open in January 2026.
