At the 12th China-Russia-Mongolia International Youth Games held recently, athletes dispatched by the wrestling team of the Bayannur Municipal Sports School competed and secured one gold and two bronze medals in the wrestling events.
At the award ceremony (photo courtesy of the Bayannur Municipal Sports Bureau), the city's athletes showed no fear of strong opponents and competed with composure, earning honor for their hometown through solid fundamentals and tenacious fighting spirit.
Among them, Hai Rongxuan won the championship in the 100-kilogram category, E Yilesige took third place in the 71-kilogram category, and Wen Dusi claimed third place in the 45-kilogram category.
Wrestling is a traditional strength and signature program of the Bayannur Municipal Sports School. As a key development base for heavy athletics reserve talent cultivation in the autonomous region, the school emphasizes the integration of sports and education, establishing a systematic talent development chain covering selection and scientific training.
