Deep News04-17

A public safety and temporary traffic control notice has been issued for the 2025-2026 Sichuan Provincial Urban Football League match between Dazhou and Zigong. The match is scheduled to take place tomorrow, April 18, 2026, from 19:35 to 22:00 at the Dazhou Sports Center football field.

To ensure public safety and the orderly operation of the event, the Dazhou Public Security Bureau has announced the following control measures, effective from 16:00 to 22:30 on April 18.

The controlled area encompasses the Dazhou Sports Center and its immediate surroundings. Specific measures include a prohibition on watching the match from the rooftops of residential buildings near the sports center. The carrying of flammable and explosive materials, controlled knives, banners, and similar items into the area is strictly forbidden. The use of fireworks and sky lanterns within the temporary security zone is also prohibited.

Should a large crowd gather inside the football stadium, posing a potential risk, public security authorities may suspend the match, implement control measures at the sports center, restrict entry, and guide spectators to evacuate in an orderly manner. Additionally, the unauthorized operation of drones within the temporary security zone is prohibited without approval from airspace management authorities and the on-site security command center. Drones used for event support, emergency rescue, or police operations must apply through the Civil Unmanned Aerial System Comprehensive Management Platform (UOM platform) and report the approval to the Dazhou Public Security Bureau's Public Order Management Unit.

Spectators are urged to adhere to public order and follow the instructions of security personnel. The public is encouraged to use green transportation methods and travel during off-peak hours to alleviate road congestion. Those driving should park in designated areas as directed by traffic police.

Violations of these regulations will be handled by public security authorities according to relevant laws and regulations.

Separately, to ensure orderly and safe traffic flow during the large-scale event, temporary traffic control measures will be implemented on roads around the Dazhou Sports Center, in accordance with Article 39 of the Road Traffic Safety Law of the People's Republic of China.

Traffic control will be implemented in two phases. The pre-match phase, from 16:00 to 20:30 on April 18, will involve controls on the Tashi Interchange ramp near the sports center and sections of Tiyu Road. Additional roads, including Fenghuang Avenue and Longquan Road, may see temporary controls depending on traffic and pedestrian flow. During these controls, only public buses, fire trucks, ambulances, police cars, communication vehicles, broadcast vehicles, explosive disposal units, and power emergency vehicles will be permitted entry and parking.

The post-match phase, from 21:30 to 23:00, will see controls on sections of Fenghuang Avenue, Jinlan Road, Longquan Road, Tashi Road, and Longjing Road. Similarly, only designated special vehicles will be allowed.

Other measures include the temporary cancellation of roadside parking spaces on one side of the Tashi Interchange pedestrian path and a section of Jinlan Road from 09:00 to 24:00 on April 18. From 15:00 to 24:00, hazardous chemical vehicles and medium-to-large freight trucks are banned from several key roads around the venue.

Designated parking areas for private vehicles will be available on specific sections of Chaoyang Middle Road, Fenghuang Avenue, Tashi Road, and Baqu East Road. Vehicles must park in a single row without obstructing bus stops or other traffic.

Shuttle bus stops will be set up on the south side of the sports center on Fenghuang Avenue for routes to the old city center, and on the opposite side near the Gaowangdu Hotel for routes to the railway station, Lotus Lake, and Jiangwan City. Another stop on the east side of the sports center on Tashi Road will serve routes to the southern urban area. Specific shuttle bus routes are detailed in an attached list.

Parking for official and event vehicles is designated on the pedestrian public parking lot on a section of Jinlan Road and on a segment of Fenghuang Avenue.

Violators of the traffic通告 will be penalized using manual enforcement and traffic monitoring equipment, in accordance with relevant traffic laws.

Authorities note that traffic control times and areas may be adjusted based on actual crowd and traffic conditions. The public is advised to follow the instructions of on-site personnel and use navigation apps like Gaode and Baidu for travel guidance.

For spectators, gates and security checkpoints will open at 17:00 on match day. Strict "one ticket, one person, ID must match" rules apply. Attendees must bring their original ID card for dual verification via facial recognition and ID comparison at the gates.

To expedite entry and ensure safety, attendees are advised not to bring suitcases, large backpacks, or big handbags. Bringing only essentials like a phone and ID is recommended.

Spectators must cooperate with security checks and follow on-site guidance. A list of prohibited and restricted items has been published to ensure safety. Prohibited items include firearms, ammunition, explosives, simulated guns, controlled knives, fireworks, flammable liquids, toxic chemicals, radioactive materials, dangerous biological agents, and illegal drugs.

Restricted items include glass bottles, containers, outside beverages (including alcohol), easily thrown food items, personal transportation devices like electric bikes or skateboards, unauthorized noisemakers, banners with non-Chinese text without permission, laser pointers, strong flashlights, loudspeakers, radio transmitters, drones, sports equipment, animals (except service animals), large bags, long or sharp umbrellas, and promotional materials with political, racial, religious, or commercial content. Lighters and matches are also restricted.

Attendees are reminded to familiarize themselves with these rules to avoid issues at security checks. Assistive devices for disabled individuals and small amounts of essential medicine are permitted.

From March to July, during the eight matches of the league, 10,487 free parking spaces will be available for vehicles with non-local license plates on match days and the day before and after each match.

Police also issued general safety reminders for large gatherings, advising the public to be aware of exits and evacuation routes, avoid narrow areas like stairwells, and not to push or crowd. In case of being caught in a crowd, keep upright, protect the chest with arms, and move with the flow. To prevent theft, keep valuables in inner pockets or zipped bags, be wary of individuals acting suspiciously in crowds, and have payment methods ready to avoid exposing wallets.
