Modern Innovative Digital Technology (2322) Announces Interim Results, Posts HK$23.6 Million Loss

Modern Innovative Digital Technology Company Limited (Stock Code: 2322) released interim results for the six months ended 30 September 2025. Revenue stood at approximately HK$30.0 million, compared to HK$35.6 million for the same period in 2024. The company recorded a loss of about HK$23.6 million, down from a HK$30.7 million loss in the prior period.

Management attributed the narrower loss primarily to lower overall impairment losses on receivables and a reduction in administrative costs. The gross profit for the period reached HK$9.3 million, compared to HK$12.2 million in the same period the previous year.

As of 30 September 2025, total assets were approximately HK$661.6 million, while net assets amounted to around HK$615.9 million. The company’s main operations include trading, money lending and factoring, finance leasing, and financial services. The trading segment recorded around HK$21.0 million revenue with a segment loss of HK$5.6 million, while money lending and factoring contributed HK$6.3 million in interest income and HK$2.3 million in segment profit.

The finance leasing segment posted interest income of about HK$1.8 million and registered a segment loss of HK$0.5 million. The financial services segment recorded around HK$1.0 million revenue and a segment loss of around HK$14.3 million. Basic and diluted loss per share was HK$(0.57) cents, with no interim dividend recommended for the period.

Management stated that it will continue to identify and evaluate other potential business opportunities to expand its asset and revenue base, noting that efforts will concentrate on cautious growth strategies while monitoring market conditions.
