Power Construction Corporation of China (PCCC) has won six major contracts totaling 6.6 billion yuan, covering hydropower and wind energy projects across multiple regions.
**1. Fujian Hua’an Pumped Storage Power Station (Upper Reservoir Project – C1 Section)** Located in Hua’an County, Zhangzhou, Fujian, this project features a total installed capacity of 1,400MW. The upper reservoir includes a rockfill dam with an asphalt concrete core wall, standing 55.5m high with a crest length of 295.2m. The winning bidder, China Hydropower Sixth Engineering Bureau Co., Ltd., submitted an offer of 760.76 million yuan.
**2. Fujian Hua’an Pumped Storage Power Station (Water Conveyance & Power Generation System – C2 Section)** This section involves the construction of water conveyance systems, underground powerhouses, and auxiliary facilities. China Hydropower Fourteenth Engineering Bureau Co., Ltd. secured the contract with a bid of 772.27 million yuan.
**3. Fujian Hua’an Pumped Storage Power Station (Lower Reservoir Project – C3 Section)** The lower reservoir project, awarded to China Hydropower Sixteenth Engineering Bureau Co., Ltd. for 597.37 million yuan, includes dam construction, water intake/outlet structures, and environmental conservation works.
**4. Xinjiang Shihezi 1GW Wind Power Project (500MW EPC Contract)** Located in Shihezi City, Xinjiang, this project will install 160 wind turbines (6.25MW each) and two 220kV booster stations. A consortium led by Zhejiang Huadong Engineering Construction Management Co., Ltd. won with a bid of 2.01 billion yuan.
**5. Huaneng New Energy Guangdong Branch – Xinjiang Hami Yiwen Huayue 700MW Wind Project (PC Contract – 400MW Section)** China Power Construction Shandong No.1 Engineering Co., Ltd. emerged as the top bidder for this 400MW segment, offering 1.21 billion yuan. The project will deploy 40 units of 10MW turbines.
**6. Huaneng New Energy Guangdong Branch – Xinjiang Hami Yiwen Huayue 700MW Wind Project (PC Contract – 300MW Section)** China Power Construction Jiangxi Hydropower Engineering Bureau Co., Ltd. secured the 300MW section with a bid of 1.3 billion yuan. The scope includes 30 turbines and a 220kV booster station.
These contracts underscore PCCC’s leading role in China’s renewable energy infrastructure development.
