At the recent 4th China International Supply Chain Expo, Intel (INTC.US) shared its innovative practices in creating an AI "Home Brain" and, together with industry chain partners, jointly unveiled a vision for an AI Home Agent ecosystem, aiming to propel home intelligence into a super-capable assistant that truly understands life and proactively cares for family members. As a partner of Intel, MINIMAX-WP (00100) was present to witness the launch of the AI Home Brain and will engage in technical exploration with its full-modal model for the AI Home Brain solution and related application scenarios.
The AI Home Brain is envisioned as the "brain" of the home, capable of unified perception, understanding, and coordination of smart devices such as cameras, speakers, major appliances, robotic vacuum cleaners, and lighting systems, which act as the home's "eyes, ears, and limbs." Intel is accelerating efforts to enable native support for agent AI across various smart home devices, using its Skills ecosystem as a link to empower each smart home device with genuine autonomous thinking and execution capabilities, achieving true cross-device intelligent collaboration.
MINIMAX-WP, as a leading AI large model company, will leverage its technical expertise in the field of full-modal models to collaborate with Intel and other industry partners in building a new ecosystem for intelligent AI homes. The partnership between the two companies is expected to accelerate the application of AI technology in home scenarios, driving home intelligence from passive response towards proactive perception and care.
MINIMAX-WP is a prominent AI large model company in China with strong growth momentum. In January of this year, the company listed on the Hong Kong stock exchange, marking the shortest time from establishment to IPO among AI enterprises. Recently, the company saw the expiration of its first post-IPO lock-up period, with two major strategic shareholders, Alibaba and miHoYo, expressing long-term confidence and pledging not to reduce their holdings; the founding team has also set a voluntary 12-month lock-up period, exceeding industry norms. Concurrently, MINIMAX-WP initiated its A-share IPO process in May, aiming to list on the STAR Market to accelerate its dual-platform "A+H" strategy. This deep collaboration with Intel in the AI Home Brain ecosystem represents another significant extension of its technological capabilities into vertical application scenarios.
Wei Guo, Vice President of Intel's Sales and Marketing Group and General Manager of Intel China, stated, "Intel continues to leverage ecosystem synergy, partnering with the entire industry chain to build an open AI home ecosystem, enabling the AI Home Brain—capable of proactively sensing intent and providing emotional value—to enter and warm every home."
As the vision for the AI Home Agent ecosystem gradually materializes, the future landscape of home intelligence is rapidly becoming a reality.
