Agricultural Bank Chairman Conducts Work Visit in Tajikistan

Agricultural Bank Chairman Gu Shu conducted a work visit to Tajikistan from June 2 to 3 local time.

In Dushanbe, Chairman Gu Shu held working meetings with the National Bank of Tajikistan, which is the country's central bank, and extended regards to the staff of the bank's Dushanbe representative office.

During the visit to the National Bank of Tajikistan, Gu Shu stated that under the strategic guidance of the two countries' leaders, bilateral relations between China and Tajikistan are at their best in history.

Agricultural Bank Of China Limited (ASX: 601288) will continue to actively support its Dushanbe representative office in playing a bridging role and providing financial services for bilateral economic, trade, investment exchanges, and industrial cooperation between China and Tajikistan.

The Governor of the National Bank of Tajikistan, Tolibzoda, welcomed Chairman Gu Shu and his delegation, briefing them on the recent economic and financial development of Tajikistan.

He noted that the strong political mutual trust between the two countries has laid a solid foundation for cooperation in the financial sector and expressed anticipation for further deepening and strengthening exchanges and cooperation in multiple areas in the future.

While in Tajikistan, Gu Shu also held a working meeting with the Chairman of the State Savings Bank of Tajikistan, Salimzoda, and met with the Chinese Ambassador to Tajikistan, Guo Zhijun.

Gu Shu visited the Dushanbe Representative Office to extend his regards to the staff, listen to work reports, affirm the achievements made in recent years, and provide guidance on continuing to effectively utilize the functional platform.

Relevant personnel from the Human Resources Department, the International Finance Department, and the Dushanbe Representative Office of Agricultural Bank Of China Limited accompanied the chairman during the related visits and activities.
