*ST Meizhi, which is entering the delisting countdown, has seen a glimmer of hope.

Recently, *ST Meizhi announced the voting results of the first creditors' meeting for its out-of-court restructuring.

The "Shenzhen Meizhi Decoration Design Engineering Co., Ltd. Out-of-Court Restructuring/Reorganization Investment Agreement" was approved by vote at the creditors' meeting.

In May of this year, creditors of *ST Meizhi applied for its restructuring, and ultimately only one investor registered and met the relevant requirements.

Shenpu Intelligent, together with 14 investors, entered the restructuring of *ST Meizhi.

Under the plan, Shenpu Intelligent will become the controlling shareholder of *ST Meizhi by receiving transferred capital reserve shares of *ST Meizhi, with a total investment amount of approximately 810 million yuan.

The company had previously sparked investor rights protection due to a performance "face change."

On March 17, *ST Meizhi issued the "2025 Annual Performance Forecast Correction Announcement," making a sharp downward revision to its previously forecast performance data.

Looking back at the earlier forecast, *ST Meizhi had estimated on January 31 that its 2025 net profit attributable to shareholders would be a loss of 75 million yuan to 112.5 million yuan.

However, in the correction announcement, this figure was expanded to a loss of 132 million yuan to 198 million yuan; net profit after deducting non-recurring gains and losses was also sharply revised from the originally expected loss of 58.3237 million yuan to 95.8237 million yuan, to a loss of 148 million yuan to 214 million yuan.

According to the Securities Law and relevant judicial interpretations, if a listed company issues forward-looking information with an obviously unreasonable preparation basis or without sufficient risk warnings, causing the information to be misleading, it constitutes a false statement.

Lawyer Liu Peng of Shanghai Huzi Law Firm stated that investors who bought during January 31, 2026 to March 17, 2026 (inclusive) and sold after March 18, 2026 or still hold shares at a loss can join the rights protection.
