On October 13, a financial news flash reported that French luxury goods group LVMH announced its results for the third quarter of 2026.

The group achieved revenue of 57.148 billion euros in the first three quarters, a year-on-year decrease of 2%, with organic growth of 2% at constant exchange rates and on a comparable basis; third-quarter revenue was 18.504 billion euros, with organic growth (i.e., growth achieved by the company's existing businesses themselves after excluding exchange rate fluctuations, acquisitions and disposals, and other changes in the scope of consolidation) of 1%.

LVMH stated that despite continued uncertainty in the economic and geopolitical environment, the group remains confident in its future development and will continue to consolidate its leading position in the global luxury goods market by enhancing brand appeal and strengthening product quality and retail capabilities.

By business segment, the Watches and Jewelry division performed notably well, with revenue of 7.725 billion euros in the first three quarters, organic growth of 8%, and growth of 6% in the third quarter, mainly driven by the jewelry business. Tiffany & Co. continued to strengthen core product lines such as HardWear and Knot, while Bulgari's newly launched Eclettica high jewelry and top-tier watch collections set revenue records.

The Selective Retailing division posted revenue of 12.476 billion euros in the first three quarters, organic growth of 6%, and growth of 8% in the third quarter. Revenue at its retail brand Sephora grew strongly, continuing to expand market share in multiple countries, with its retail network further extended to Belgium and Croatia.

As the group's largest business segment, the Fashion and Leather Goods division recorded revenue of 26.391 billion euros in the first three quarters, an organic decline of 2%, with the third-quarter decline widening to 5%.

The Wines and Spirits division generated revenue of 4.027 billion euros in the first three quarters, organic growth of 5%, and organic growth of 6% in the third quarter. The Champagne business continued its recovery trend, with particularly evident performance in the European market; Hennessy maintained good growth in Asia, while the U.S. market benefited from the launch of new ready-to-drink cocktail products.

The Perfumes and Cosmetics division reported revenue of 5.922 billion euros in the first three quarters, with organic revenue flat compared with the same period last year and growth of 1% in the third quarter. New products from Dior perfume and makeup, the Guerlain fragrance collection, and lipstick products provided support for the business.
