HAITIAN FLAV Cuts A-Share Float by 2.65 Million in August, Confirms HK Public Float Compliance

Bulletin Express09-03 19:03

Foshan Haitian Flavouring and Food Company Ltd. released its Monthly Return for the period ended 31 August 2026, detailing modest yet notable equity movements across its dual listings in Shanghai and Hong Kong.

The company’s authorised share capital remained unchanged at RMB 5.85 billion, comprising 291.22 million H-shares and 5.56 billion A-shares, each with a par value of RMB 1.00.

H-shares (stock code 03288) registered no share issuance or repurchase activity during the month, keeping the total issued H-share count steady at 291.22 million. The firm confirmed that the public float requirement under Hong Kong Listing Rules was met, with free float standing at 4.98%—equivalent to HKD 9.44 billion in market value, comfortably above the HKD 1.00 billion threshold for PRC issuers.

A-shares (Shanghai: 603288) saw more significant movement. The total number of issued A-shares fell by 2.65 million to 5.55 billion, driven by buy-back actions executed under a shareholder-approved repurchase mandate: • 779,900 shares were repurchased and immediately cancelled on 6 August at RMB 36.87 per share. • An additional 1.87 million shares were bought back between 27 and 31 August at prices ranging from RMB 33.67 to RMB 34.00 per share. These shares are held in treasury, lifting the month-end treasury balance to 8.97 million shares.

No options, warrants, convertibles, or other equity instruments were issued or outstanding during the reporting period.

The updated capital structure positions HAITIAN FLAV with 5.84 billion shares outstanding across both markets and a slightly higher treasury stock buffer, reflecting ongoing capital-management discipline through selective share buy-backs.
