On August 9, media reports indicated that premium lifestyle activewear brand ALO will exclusively launch on Tmall, opening its first official flagship store in mainland China on August 12. This will mark ALO's first official online sales channel in the Chinese market, serving as the sole e-commerce platform for the brand within the region.

In response to this news, Tmall officials have not yet issued a statement as of press time. A Tmall customer service representative stated, "We have not received any notification yet." Public records show that ALO's Chinese business entity is Ailuo E-commerce (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., which registered the WeChat public account "ALO爱洛" on June 5, 2026, and officially announced its entry into China on June 17.

Recently, observations on social media platforms revealed posts from netizens claiming to have participated in ALO's recruitment activities in China. According to these posts, ALO's hiring in China includes positions such as Operations Manager, Store Manager, and Sales Associate. Additionally, media reports suggest that Shanghai's Jing'an Kerry Center and Beijing's Taikoo Li Sanlitun have been selected as the locations for ALO's first physical stores in mainland China.

In February, ALO initiated construction hoardings for its first store in Hong Kong at K11 MUSEA, though it has yet to open. Meanwhile, ALO has also registered Hangzhou Branch of Ailuo Commercial (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., leading to market speculation that a store may eventually open in Hangzhou. Founded in 2007 in Los Angeles, ALO is a high-end activewear brand whose name is derived from the initials of Air, Land, and Ocean, symbolizing a balance between nature and humanity, body and mind. The brand's core philosophy is "Studio to Street," reflecting its journey from yoga studios to everyday wear.

Public data shows that from 2020 to 2022, ALO's annual revenue surged from approximately $200 million to $1 billion, a fivefold increase in three years. In 2024, revenue stabilized around $1 billion. By May 2025, ALO's Google search index surpassed that of Lululemon for the first time.
