On December 22, the Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE), Shenzhen Stock Exchange (SZSE), and Beijing Stock Exchange (BSE) jointly released the 2026 holiday market closure arrangements as follows:

1. **New Year's Day**: Closed January 1 (Thursday) to January 3 (Saturday), resuming January 5 (Monday). January 4 (Sunday) is a regular weekend closure.

2. **Spring Festival**: Closed February 15 (Sunday) to February 23 (Monday), resuming February 24 (Tuesday). February 14 (Saturday) and February 28 (Saturday) are weekend closures.

3. **Qingming Festival**: Closed April 4 (Saturday) to April 6 (Monday), resuming April 7 (Tuesday).

4. **Labor Day**: Closed May 1 (Friday) to May 5 (Tuesday), resuming May 6 (Wednesday). May 9 (Saturday) is a weekend closure.

5. **Dragon Boat Festival**: Closed June 19 (Friday) to June 21 (Sunday), resuming June 22 (Monday).

**China Securities Depository and Clearing Corporation (ChinaClear) Settlement Schedule**: - **New Year's Day (4 days)**: - December 29–31, 2025: Additional Stock Connect trading days. - T+1 settlements for December 31 trades will clear on January 5, 2026. - B-share settlements for December 29–31 will occur January 5–7, 2026.
