Tesla appears to be progressively integrating its Optimus robots into its factory operations, with the Austin facility poised to become the next training ground.
According to sources familiar with the matter, during an employee meeting last week, Tesla informed its staff that the company plans to begin collecting data at the Austin Gigafactory to train its humanoid robots.
The company stated it is planning to train the Optimus robot to enable it to perform tasks within the Texas-based factory, adding that this initiative is scheduled to commence in February.
