On December 4, Agricultural Bank of China (ABC) Chairman Gu Shu met with Jean Lemierre, Chairman of BNP Paribas, and his delegation.
Gu Shu emphasized that China's unwavering commitment to high-level opening-up presents vast market opportunities for further deepening cooperation between Chinese and French financial institutions. In recent years, ABC and BNP Paribas have strengthened their collaboration, with their jointly established wealth management subsidiary achieving steady growth. Lemierre provided an update on BNP Paribas' latest developments and expressed gratitude for ABC's long-term support, acknowledging the significance of their partnership.
The two sides also engaged in in-depth discussions on enhancing Sino-French economic and investment ties, as well as exploring cooperation in green finance, pension finance, artificial intelligence applications, and other fields.
Representatives from ABC's Personal Banking Department, ABC Wealth Management, and the International Finance Department attended the meeting.
