Industrial Bank Responds to 7.2 Million Yuan Fine: All Rectifications Completed

The National Financial Regulatory Administration disclosed on December 5 that Industrial Bank Co.,Ltd. (601166) has been fined 7.2 million yuan for regulatory violations including inadequate management of outsourcing institutions and inaccurate enterprise classification. Zhang Hao, a relevant responsible person, received a warning and a 60,000 yuan fine.

In response, Industrial Bank stated that the regulator conducted inspections in 2024 and recently issued the penalty decision. "We attach great importance to the regulatory feedback and have implemented immediate corrective actions. All issues related to the penalty have been fully rectified," the bank said.

The bank emphasized its commitment to addressing both symptoms and root causes while continuously improving its data management system. "We will strengthen compliance management, optimize long-term mechanisms, and consolidate our operational foundation," it added.

Moving forward, Industrial Bank pledged to strictly implement regulatory requirements, maintain rigorous internal governance, and enhance both customer service quality and its capacity to serve the real economy.
