JOYSON ELEC repurchases 1.05 million H shares for HKD 13.41 million, treasury stock rises to 5.34 million

JOYSON ELEC (Ningbo Joyson Electronic Corp.) disclosed a share buyback in a Next Day Disclosure Return filed on 24 July 2026.

On 24 July 2026, the company repurchased 1.05 million H shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, equal to 0.70% of its outstanding H shares before the transaction. The shares were bought at prices ranging from HKD 12.53 to HKD 12.88, yielding a volume-weighted average cost of HKD 12.77 per share and an aggregate outlay of HKD 13.41 million.

Following the repurchase, issued shares excluding treasury shares fell to 149.76 million, while treasury shares increased to 5.34 million. The total number of issued shares remained unchanged at 155.10 million.

The buyback was executed under the mandate approved on 12 May 2026, which authorises the company to repurchase up to 15.44 million shares. Cumulative purchases under this mandate now stand at 4.65 million shares, representing 3.01% of the issued share base on the mandate date, leaving capacity for a further 10.79 million shares.

All repurchased shares are being held as treasury stock; no cancellations have been effected. In accordance with listing rules, JOYSON ELEC is restricted from issuing, selling or transferring treasury shares until 23 August 2026.
