NVIDIA RTX 50 Series Graphics Cards See Wholesale Prices Surge Up to 800 Yuan in a Single Week

Deep News07-27 20:05

Recent reports circulating online indicate sharp price increases for graphics cards, sparking widespread discussion among consumers.

According to industry insiders cited by Board Channel Forum, NVIDIA has informed its AIC partners of an upcoming price hike, though the specific policy details are not expected to be finalized until August. In response, major graphics card brands have fully halted shipments and placed a freeze on inventory.

Based on the latest update from the Board Channel Forum's official channel "Shi Bo He Ju," wholesale prices for the RTX 50 series have already begun to climb sharply since last weekend. Since manufacturers have not yet updated their cost prices, the final wholesale prices have not yet stabilized.

A comparison of wholesale prices between July 20 and July 27 was released, covering the channel pricing for various logistics models in the RTX 50 series. Note: "Market wholesale price" refers to the transaction price when goods are transferred between distributors at the wholesale level—not retail prices or factory prices.

According to earlier reports, this round of price increases is directly driven by upstream DRAM suppliers raising their quotes to NVIDIA for GDDR7 and GDDR6 memory. The price of GDDR7 memory has increased by nearly $20 (approximately 135.6 yuan in current exchange rates) for every 2GB.
