The 2026 Sea Lion 06 EV, an SUV under BYD's Ocean Series lineup, has officially launched with updated features. The vehicle is priced between ¥159,900 and ¥179,900. Buyers can now take advantage of multiple purchase incentives, including renewal rewards, worry-free packages, flash charging benefits, and smart connectivity offers.
In terms of range, the 2026 Sea Lion 06 EV is equipped with second-generation Blade Battery technology and supports new flash charging capabilities. It can recharge from 10% to 70% in just five minutes, and from 10% to 97% in only nine minutes. The vehicle's maximum range has also been upgraded, reaching up to 710 km across all variants.
On the intelligent features front, the model offers an optional lidar system and is equipped with the DiPilot 5.0 advanced driver-assistance system, enabling full-scenario driving support from highways to urban roads.
For comfort, the 2026 Sea Lion 06 EV comes standard with seat memory functionality. When switching drivers, a single button adjusts the seat and side mirrors to individual preset positions. The front seats include massage functionality, and the passenger seat now features additional leg and lumbar support. The vehicle also offers a class-leading 142-liter front trunk, accessible via both touch and button controls.
Exterior and interior updates include new Silvery Glaze and Twilight Blue color options, while the cabin now incorporates a fragrance system.
In terms of driving dynamics, the vehicle's Yun-C intelligent damping suspension system now includes road preview functionality. When detecting uneven surfaces such as manhole covers or speed bumps, the system proactively adjusts the suspension damping to enhance handling and comfort. Additionally, the 2026 Sea Lion 06 EV is equipped with a Tire Blowout Control system, capable of responding within milliseconds to maintain stability.
