According to a post on NVIDIA's official blog, the Vera Rubin platform features a "cable-free, hose-free, fan-free" design, employing rigid metal manifolds or bellows as the standard fluid delivery solution for liquid cooling. This approach is designed to ensure the long-term stable operation of ultra-high-power-density racks under immersion cooling.
Industry insiders suggest that with the accelerating iteration speed of AI computing power, the adoption of rigid metal manifolds/bellows in NVIDIA's Vera Rubin architecture is primarily due to metal tubing meeting the multiple stringent requirements for high-power immersion liquid cooling.
