Tongcheng Travel appoints Tencent treasury head Li Huan Na as non-executive director, succeeding Xie Qing Hua

Tongcheng Travel Holdings Limited has announced that, effective 10 July 2026, Mr. Xie Qing Hua will step down as non-executive director and member of the Audit Committee due to other work commitments. According to the board, Mr. Xie has no disagreements with management and no additional matters require shareholder attention.

Concurrently, Ms. Li Huan Na, aged 44, will join the board as a non-executive director and Audit Committee member. Ms. Li has been with Tencent Holdings Limited since May 2011 and currently leads its treasury department. Her prior experience includes seven years as an assurance manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers (2004–2011). She holds Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) status, is a Certified Public Accountant in China (CICPA) and Australia (CPA Australia), and earned dual bachelor’s degrees in accounting and English from Sun Yat-Sen University in 2004.

Ms. Li has signed a one-year service contract with Tongcheng Travel. She will serve until the next annual general meeting and will then be subject to retirement by rotation and re-election under the company’s articles. The contract can be terminated by either party with no less than one month’s written notice. No remuneration is attached to her role as a non-executive director.

The board expressed appreciation for Mr. Xie’s contributions and extended a formal welcome to Ms. Li. As of the announcement date, the board comprises Executive Directors Wu Zhixiang, Ma Heping (Co-Chairman and CEO), and Han Yuling; Non-executive Directors Liang Jianzhang, Jiang Hao (Co-Chairman), and Li Huan Na; and Independent Non-executive Directors Yang Chia Hung, Dai Xiaojing, and Brent Richard Irvin.
