Data released on January 9 showed that the average price change rate for a basket of crude oils was -2.09% on January 8.
According to the "Oil Price Management Measures," domestic prices for gasoline and diesel are adjusted every 10 working days based on changes in international crude oil prices, with the new prices taking effect at 24:00 on the day the adjustment is announced.
If the price adjustment is less than 50 yuan per ton, no change will be made; the difference will be carried over to the next adjustment period for accumulation or offset.
Under special circumstances as defined by the measures, price adjustments may be suspended, delayed, or implemented with a smaller margin.
January 9 marks the third working day of the current pricing cycle, with the next price adjustment window scheduled to open at 24:00 on January 20.
