On the evening of October 4, LEAPMOTOR (HKEX: 09863) released a statement on its official Weibo account.

The company stated that it has always adhered to the One-China principle, that Taiwan is an inalienable part of China's territory, and that it firmly opposes any form of "Taiwan independence" separatist activities and any words or actions that harm national sentiment.

Kevin Tsai was only a participating artist in the company's past collaboration content, and is not a brand ambassador for LEAPMOTOR (HKEX: 09863).

At present, the company has taken down all content related to him and reserves the right to pursue legal responsibility against relevant parties.

Going forward, the company will further strengthen the review of its partners' backgrounds and positions, and earnestly fulfill its brand responsibilities, the statement said, thanking all sectors of society for their supervision.
