Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index night futures for the August contract settled at 25,476 points during the trading session on August 28, reflecting a decline of 122 points, or 0.477%. This closing level represented a discount of 90 points compared to the underlying cash index.
The total open interest for the contract stood at 29,242 contracts, marking a reduction of 33,290 contracts from the previous session. Meanwhile, net open interest was recorded at 15,424 contracts, down by 9,755 contracts.
