OSHIDORI (HKEX: 00622) shares surged more than 11% on Wednesday, extending gains from the previous session. At the time of writing, the stock was trading 10.4% higher at HK$2.76, with turnover reaching HK$17.05 million.
In a corporate filing, the company released an updated positive profit alert, revising its earlier guidance. OSHIDORI now expects to report a profit of HK$297.1 million for the first half of 2026, representing a 213% year-on-year increase. As of June 30, 2026, the group's consolidated net asset value is projected to have surged 28% to HK$4.091 billion, compared to HK$3.1837 billion at the end of June 2025.
According to the announcement, the expected surge in interim profit and the increase in net asset value as of mid-2026 are entirely attributable to an upward revision of financial data provided by one of the group's associates. An improvement in that associate's financial performance has raised the group's share of its results, thereby boosting the interim profit and closing consolidated net asset value. All other profit-driving factors previously disclosed remain unchanged.
