Shenzhen Polytechnic University and UBTECH ROBOTICS Corp., Ltd. have held a signing and unveiling ceremony for their jointly established Embodied Intelligence Industry School at the university.
The ceremony for the establishment of the Embodied Intelligence Industry School at Shenzhen Polytechnic University was held on-site.
According to the introduction, Shenzhen Polytechnic University had already founded a School of Artificial Intelligence back in 2019, which has since closely aligned itself with the forefront of the AI and robotics industry, accumulating substantial experience in program development, talent cultivation, and technological R&D.
As a well-known enterprise in the robotics field, UBTECH ROBOTICS will collaborate with the university to establish an industry school that will focus on developing four key functional centers: a Humanoid Robot Joint Research and Innovation Center, an Excellence Talent Training Center, an Industrial Humanoid Robot Model Training Center for Production Processes, and an Industry Certification and Achievement Transformation Center.
Concurrently, the school will advance three core initiatives: a Project-Based Talent Cultivation Program for Applied Embodied Intelligence Technology, a High-End Technical Skills Talent Reserve Program for the Robotics Industry, and an Embodied Intelligence Industry Technology Breakthrough and Achievement Application Promotion Program, aiming to build a dual-collaborative industry-education integration talent development system.
Both collaborating parties expressed their intention to strive for a series of landmark achievements over a five-year construction period in areas such as standard setting, professional development, scenario R&D, curriculum development, faculty training, talent certification, and international services, ultimately forming a replicable and scalable "Shenzhen Model" for embodied intelligence talent cultivation.
