JPMorgan has issued a research report assigning a "Neutral" rating to MGM CHINA (02282) with a target price of HK$13.2. The bank believes the valuation is attractive, calculated using an enterprise value multiple of 6 to 7 times, a price-to-earnings ratio of 9 to 10 times, and a projected dividend yield exceeding 5% for 2026. MGM CHINA's first-quarter EBITDA surpassed market expectations by 5%, and after win rate adjustments, EBITDA reached a record high of HK$26 billion, marking a 13% increase year-on-year and a 2% rise quarter-on-quarter. The report noted that the company's stock price has declined 22% over the past six months, primarily due to the license fee increase last December and last month's disappointing dividend policy, which have negatively impacted market perceptions of its corporate governance and shareholder friendliness.
