Agricultural Bank of China Adjusts Margin Requirements for Precious Metals Contracts

Deep News06-04 18:52

In response to heightened market volatility, Agricultural Bank of China Limited has announced a change to its margin requirements.

The bank stated that due to increased fluctuations in international precious metals prices, the market risk for individual clients trading these products has risen.

To protect investor interests, the bank will adjust the margin ratio for Au(T+D) and Ag(T+D) contracts from 100% to 120%, effective from the close of settlement on Friday, June 5, 2026.

Any future adjustments to the margin ratios for these contracts will be communicated separately.

Agricultural Bank Of China Limited advises investors to be mindful of the changes in margin requirements and associated position risks, manage their position sizes appropriately, and engage in rational trading.
