Industry sources revealed on Monday that NVIDIA Senior Director Madison Huang, who is also the daughter of CEO Jensen Huang, is scheduled to visit LG Electronics' robotics center in South Korea later this week.
Madison Huang is set to arrive on Tuesday for a closed-door meeting with senior LG Electronics officials. The discussions will focus on deepening collaboration between the two companies in artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure and robotics.
The talks are expected to center primarily on the robotics business, and will be held at LG Electronics' data factory currently under construction south of Seoul. The South Korean tech giant is building this facility as a key infrastructure platform to enhance humanoid robot capabilities.
Last week, LG Electronics announced plans to launch a next-generation humanoid robot in the first quarter of 2027, capable of bipedal walking and built on the NVIDIA robotics platform. The South Korean company stated it had signed a memorandum of understanding at NVIDIA's headquarters in Santa Clara, California, with LG Group Chairman Koo Kwang-mo and Jensen Huang both in attendance.
