CHALIECO Pushes Back Circular on Renewed Financial Services Agreement to 26 October 2026

China Aluminum International Engineering Corporation Limited (CHALIECO) has postponed the distribution of its shareholder circular related to the Renewed Financial Services Agreement with Chinalco Finance. The circular, originally scheduled to be issued within 15 business days of the 13 August 2026 announcement, is now expected on or before 26 October 2026.\n\nThe forthcoming document will include: 1) full terms of the Renewed Financial Services Agreement; 2) an Independent Board Committee recommendation on the deposit services and proposed annual caps for the daily maximum deposit balance; and 3) an opinion letter from the Independent Financial Adviser addressing the same matters.\n\nManagement cited the need for additional time to finalize information as the reason for the delay. The board composition remains unchanged, comprising two non-executive directors (LIU Changkui, WANG Dezhong), three executive directors (LI Yihua, LIU Jing, TAO Fulun), one employee representative director (LIU Dongjun) and three independent non-executive directors (ZHANG Ting’an, HUI Lai Kwan, TONG Pengfang).\n\nThe company reiterated its responsibility for timely disclosure and noted that Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited and The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited do not assume liability for the contents of this announcement.
