HKTV Releases 2026 Interim Report and Introduces New E-Communication Framework

Bulletin Express09-17

Hong Kong Technology Venture Company Limited (HKTV) has announced the online publication of its 2026 Interim Report. Both English and Chinese versions are now accessible in the Investor Engagement section of the company’s website (https://www.hktv.com.hk/investors-notice) and on the Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEX) website (www.hkexnews.hk). Registered shareholders who previously opted for hard-copy materials will receive the printed report in their selected language.

In parallel, HKTV detailed a revised distribution model for all future corporate communications, aligning with Rule 2.07A of the HKEX Listing Rules and the updated Hong Kong Companies Ordinance effective 17 April 2025. Key elements of the new framework include:

• Actionable Corporate Communications – Documents requiring shareholder instructions (e.g., election forms) will continue to be dispatched in printed form unless shareholders proactively register a valid email address with the share registrar, Computershare Hong Kong Investor Services Limited. • Regular Corporate Communications – All other disclosures, such as financial reports, circulars, and meeting notices, will be made available exclusively online via HKTV’s investor website and the HKEX portal. Shareholders are encouraged to submit an email address—either by scanning the personalised QR code on the enclosed reply form or by returning the completed form via mail or email—to receive electronic publication notifications. • Optional Printed or Electronic Copies – Shareholders may request complimentary printed or electronic versions of any corporate communication at any time by notifying the registrar. Such requests remain effective for one year from receipt.

These measures are intended to streamline information delivery, enhance environmental sustainability, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Chairman Alvin Mak signed the notice on behalf of the board on 18 September 2026.
