On Thursday, CrowdStrike (CRWD.US) saw a dramatic surge in its share price, climbing more than 17% at the time of writing, which stands as the largest single-day jump since July 14.

The cybersecurity firm reported second-quarter revenue of $147 million and adjusted earnings per share of $0.31, both of which comfortably exceeded Wall Street analysts' consensus forecasts. Additionally, annual recurring revenue—a key performance metric for software companies—reached $584 million, surpassing market expectations and underscoring the robust revenue-generating strength of its subscription-based business model.

The rally was not confined to CrowdStrike alone, as AI-focused software stocks collectively advanced. Figma Inc (FIG.US) rose more than 10%, while ServiceNow (NOW.US) and Datadog (DDOG.US) each gained nearly 10%. Cloudflare (NET.US) added over 5%, and Adobe (ADBE.US) along with Snowflake (SNOW.US) advanced close to 5%. Palantir (PLTR.US) also moved higher, rising more than 3%.
