Daylight saving time in parts of Australia (excluding Queensland, the Northern Territory, Western Australia, Christmas Island or the Cocos (Keeling) Islands) will start on Sunday, 2 October 2022 at 2:00 a.m. AEST. The time will be moved an hour forward from 2:00 a.m. to 3:00 a.m.
At that time, the regular trading period of the US stock market will become 0:30 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. AEST.
And for Singapore investors, the normal trading hours for Australian markets when Australia starts DST will be 7:00 am to 1:00 pm SGT.
Please consider any changes in trading hours that might apply and make the necessary preparations in advance.
