EV shares jumped on Monday. Toyota, Rivian jumped over 2%; Li Auto, XPeng, Lucid up over 1%; Tesla up 0.7%.
Rivian stock soared 12% on Friday. Rivian announced its Rivian Autonomy Processor chip and Autonomy Compute Module 3 platform, ready for integration in its own vehicles, and likely those of other automakers.
Gold and silver stocks shined in overnight trading. Harmony Gold up about 4%; Coeur Mining, First Majestic Silver up over 3%.
