On Thursday, the three major U.S. stock indices collectively closed higher. The Hang Seng Index ADR also advanced, proportionally calculated to close at 26,739.45 points, up 109.49 points or 0.41% from the Hong Kong market close.
Large blue-chip stocks showed mixed performance. HSBC Holdings closed at HKD 130.600, rising 0.69% compared to its Hong Kong closing price. Meanwhile, Tencent Holdings ended at HKD 594.990, down 0.42% from its Hong Kong market close.
