CHALIECO Announces Resignation of Non-Executive Director Hu Weixi

CHALIECO (02068) has issued an announcement stating that Ms. Hu Weixi, a Non-executive Director, intends to resign from her positions as Non-executive Director, member and Chairman of the Board's Risk Management Committee, and member of the Board's Nomination Committee due to personal work arrangements. To ensure the Board continues to meet gender diversity requirements, Ms. Hu Weixi will continue her duties until the company elects a new female director. The Board meeting reviewed and approved a proposal to nominate Mr. Wang Dezhong as a candidate for Non-executive Director of the Fifth Board of Directors. Mr. Wang will exercise his authority in accordance with the company's articles of association, with his term commencing from the date of approval by the shareholders' meeting until the end of the Fifth Board's term. Separately, Mr. Xiao Zhixiang has submitted his resignation to the Board and intends to step down from his roles as Independent Non-executive Director, member and Chairman of the Board's Audit Committee, as he has decided to devote more time to other work commitments. The Board meeting also reviewed and approved a proposal to nominate Ms. Xu Lijun as a candidate for Independent Non-executive Director of the Fifth Board of Directors. Ms. Xu will exercise her authority in accordance with the company's articles of association, with her term commencing from the date of approval by the shareholders' meeting until the end of the Fifth Board's term.
