China Saftower International Holding Group Limited has announced the resignation of its independent non-executive director, effective 10 November 2025. The director cited extensive commitments and personal matters as reasons for stepping down and confirmed no disagreement with the board. The company has conveyed appreciation for the director’s contributions during his tenure.
On the same date, the company appointed a new independent non-executive director, who will also serve as the audit committee chairperson and a member of the nomination and remuneration committees. This individual brings more than two decades of auditing, accounting, and corporate finance experience and holds a Doctor of Business Administration degree obtained in 2023. He is a member of The Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants and other professional bodies and has served as a director for several listed entities in Hong Kong.
The director’s fee has been set at HK$144,000 per year, determined with reference to prevailing practices and responsibilities. The appointee meets the required independence criteria and confirms no other matters need to be brought to the attention of shareholders regarding this appointment.
