On December 9, the Ningbo Financial Regulatory Bureau approved Shanghai Pudong Development Bank Co., Ltd.'s acquisition of Ningbo Haishu SPDB Rural Bank Co., Ltd. The approval allows SPDB to take over the latter's assets, liabilities, business operations, and employees while establishing a new branch—Shanghai Pudong Development Bank Co., Ltd. Ningbo Tianyi Branch.
