The situation was first reported on the evening of August 2nd by the "July 30th" case task force in Xiping County. On the morning of July 30, 2026, a criminal case occurred in Bocheng Street, Xiping County, resulting in one death. That morning, a rental tenant from Xiguan Community, Xia Mougang (male, 51 years old), became embroiled in a dispute with his neighbor Hou Mouli and his family over neighborhood trivialities. He used a weapon to stab Hou Mouli and his relatives. Hou Mouli died despite rescue efforts, while his relative's condition is stable and they are receiving treatment in the hospital.
Following the incident, the county immediately established a special task force to coordinate case investigation, medical treatment, and other efforts. To eliminate social risks and capture the fugitive as quickly as possible, the authorities urged the public to provide information. A reward of 50,000 yuan is offered for directly capturing the suspect, 30,000 yuan for providing effective clues that lead to the arrest, and 20,000 yuan for providing effective clues. The police will strictly maintain confidentiality for informants. Based on investigation and analysis, the suspect may be carrying dangerous weapons such as knives while on the run, posing a high risk.
