The firm announced that VinFast, a subsidiary of the Vingroup conglomerate, has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Gowa Motor group. The agreement outlines plans to form a joint venture aimed at establishing a network for distributing electric vehicles across Indonesia.
The primary objective of the proposed joint venture is to set up at least 30 showrooms and service centers throughout the Indonesian archipelago. The signing ceremony was attended by key representatives, including VinFast’s Southeast Asia Chief Executive Officer, Antonio Zara, and Sadjikin Aksa, a commissioner of the Gowa Motor group.
