According to the company's official announcement, Gezer Technology, a cutting-edge domestic semiconductor firm, has recently secured nearly 100 million yuan in strategic financing. The funding round was led by prominent industrial investment firm Jinyu Maowu, with participation from existing shareholders Suzhou High-Tech Financial Holdings and Suzhou Venture Capital Group.
The proceeds will primarily be allocated to ongoing technological upgrades of existing products, capacity expansion, and R&D investments in next-generation technologies. Specializing in industrial automation, Gezer Technology focuses on the development and innovation of sensing and control technologies. Its products are widely applied across lithium battery production, new energy manufacturing, 3C electronics, healthcare, and other sectors.
In the semiconductor industry, the company has quietly emerged as a "hidden champion" in optical inspection and metrology equipment. Leveraging its self-developed precision optical systems and algorithm platforms, along with semiconductor production line data, Gezer has built a high-value, integrated hardware-software product matrix with strong competitive barriers:
1) Front-end semiconductor optical inspection equipment includes wafer epitaxial layer thickness measurement systems, FTIR infrared element concentration analyzers, wafer internal stress scanners, ellipsometric thin-film measurement devices, and defect detection tools. These "intelligent eyes" for chip manufacturing enable nano-scale process analysis, significantly improving wafer yields. The equipment has already been adopted by multiple leading foundries.
2) Core semiconductor optical components such as wafer aligners, wafer ID readers, laser-driven light sources, and batch wafer code scanners serve as the production line's "neural hub," providing highly stable foundational support while reducing reliance on foreign suppliers.
With fully independent intellectual property, Gezer's products have obtained SEMI international certification and contribute to setting national standards for the semiconductor industry.
