Air China Limited has issued a supplemental notice to its 28 May 2026 annual shareholders’ meeting, adding an ordinary resolution to elect Mr. Lam Siu Por Ronald as a non-executive director.
The additional proposal was submitted by controlling shareholder China National Aviation Holding Corporation Limited and accepted by the board. Shareholders will now vote on Resolution 12—Mr. Lam’s appointment—alongside the items contained in the original AGM notice dated 6 May 2026.
Key details of the supplemental notice:
• Meeting logistics: 11:00 a.m., Thursday, 28 May 2026, Conference Room C313, No. 30 Tianzhu Road, Shunyi District, Beijing.
• Proxy arrangements: A revised proxy form must reach Computershare Hong Kong Investor Services Limited at least 24 hours before the meeting; completion of the form does not preclude in-person voting rights.
• Candidate profile: Mr. Lam, 53, holds Bachelor and Master of Arts degrees in Computer Science from the University of Cambridge. Since joining the Swire Group in 1996, he has held senior roles at Cathay Pacific and Hong Kong Aircraft Engineering Company, and currently serves as CEO of Cathay Pacific and Chair of Hong Kong Express Airways. He was a director of Air China Cargo from September 2021 to June 2025.
• Board term and compensation: Upon shareholder approval, Mr. Lam will serve until the end of the current board session under a service contract with no director’s remuneration.
• Independence and shareholdings: The board confirms no relationships or share interests between Mr. Lam and existing directors, senior management, substantial or controlling shareholders, and no disclosure obligations arise under Listing Rules 13.51(2)(h)–(v).
All other AGM agenda items, eligibility requirements, registration procedures and the register-of-members closure remain unchanged from the original notice.
