Ping An Bank CEO: A Red Tie Doesn't Drive Results, Clean and Durable Performance Matters Most

Deep News08-17

During the 2026 interim results conference held on August 17, Ping An Bank Co., Ltd. Party Secretary and President Ji Guangheng addressed the symbolism of his attire, stating that wearing a red tie has little correlation with the bank's actual performance.

"As long as we genuinely excel at our core business, no one will pay much attention to my choice of tie," Ji remarked. He further explained that investors attending shareholder meetings are not focused on the roster of attendees or our appearances. What truly matters to the market is a performance that is concrete, transparent, and resilient enough to withstand scrutiny and challenges. This, he emphasized, is of paramount importance.
