CONCH MAT TECH’s 2025 ESG Report Shows Strong Growth, Lower Carbon Footprint and Zero-Injury Record

CONCH MAT TECH has released its second Environmental, Social and Governance Report, covering the 12 months to 31 December 2025 and approved by the board on 31 March 2026.

Financial and Operational Snapshot • Operating revenue reached RMB 2.31 billion, while net profit attributable to equity holders came in at RMB 109 million. • Taxes paid totalled RMB 105 million. • Annual output stood at 924.9 thousand tonnes across 12 production facilities in 11 domestic regions.

Governance and Compliance • The board retains ultimate ESG oversight, supported by an Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) Management Committee; executive pay is now linked to ESG indicators. • Anti-corruption controls were reinforced through 100 per cent staff training, whistle-blowing channels and dedicated integrity commissioners—no corruption cases were reported.

Environmental Progress • Comprehensive energy use was 31,008 MWh, with solar power contributing 18,232 kWh; both energy and greenhouse-gas intensity fell by 5 per cent year-on-year, meeting targets. • Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions totalled 15,628 tCO₂-e, or 0.017 tCO₂-e per tonne of product. • Water consumption was 587,109 m³, down to 0.63 m³ per tonne of output after efficiency measures. • Hazardous- and non-hazardous-waste intensities declined to 0.62 t and 0.87 t per 10,000 tonnes of product, respectively; waste-handling compliance remained at 100 per cent. • Eight subsidiaries hold ISO 14001 certification; Ningbo Conch was named a “Top 100 Provincial Waste-Free Factory”, while Meishan Conch became an industry-level “Green Factory”.

Workforce and Safety • Headcount reached 908, with Han employees accounting for 94 per cent; the labour-contract signing rate is 100 per cent. • No work-related injuries or fatalities were recorded; more than RMB 10.17 million was invested in safety and health, and 473 safety-education sessions were conducted. • Average training hours were 22 per employee; 37 skills contests and 201 innovation projects were completed. • Eight subsidiaries carry ISO 45001 occupational-health and-safety certification.

Innovation and Intellectual Property • R&D spending was RMB 43.08 million, equal to 1.86 per cent of revenue; R&D staff represent 16.96 per cent of the workforce. • The company filed 38 new patent applications, lifting cumulative grants to 225. • Recognitions include “Benchmark Enterprise” under China’s Sci-Tech Reform Demonstration Initiative and dual “Five-Star” awards for growth and R&D capability from the China Building Materials Enterprise Management Association.

Responsible Supply Chain • The supplier base totals 447 firms, including 13 overseas; 73 new suppliers were onboarded in 2025. • Environmental-impact assessments and ESG clauses are mandatory, and all suppliers must sign safety agreements.

Community and Social Contribution • The group supported rural revitalisation by purchasing RMB 30.40 million of Xinjiang specialty agricultural products, boosting local farmer income.

CONCH MAT TECH states that the integration of ESG objectives into strategic planning will continue, with further emphasis on low-carbon manufacturing, product innovation and responsible supply-chain practices.
