Stock News07-31

Cowell (01415) has issued a profit alert, projecting a significant increase in its financial performance for the first half of 2026.

For the six months ending June 30, 2026, the company expects to report a net profit of approximately $85 million to $94 million. This represents a substantial year-over-year increase of about 27% to 40% compared to the $67 million net profit recorded in the same period of 2025.

In tandem with the profit surge, Cowell anticipates revenue of roughly $1.525 billion to $1.685 billion for the first half of 2026, up from the $1.36 billion reported in the prior-year period.

According to the company's announcement, the notable improvement in profitability is primarily attributed to three key factors: (i) an increase in sales volume of camera modules; (ii) an enhancement in production yield rates; and (iii) efficient cost management initiatives. As of June 30, 2026, the group's total assets are estimated to be in the range of approximately $1.438 billion to $1.59 billion.
