Jilin's Premium Agricultural Products Showcased at Three Major Food Expos in Dongguan, Bringing Changbai Mountain Delicacies to Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Region

Deep News04-12

On April 10, the 10th China International Food and Ingredients Expo, the 4th China International Prepared Dishes Industry Expo, and the 15th Guangdong Modern Agriculture Expo grandly opened at the Guangdong Modern International Exhibition Center in Dongguan. Jilin Province's Green Food Office organized 24 enterprises producing nationally recognized specialty, high-quality, and novel agricultural products to showcase over 100 premium items at a dedicated exhibition. Products such as Ji'an ginseng, Fusong lingzhi spore powder, and Tonghua blueberries were prominently featured, comprehensively demonstrating the unique appeal of the "Jilin Brand" in agriculture.

The expos, themed "Complete Food Excellence, Foreseeing the Future of Taste," covered a total exhibition area exceeding 50,000 square meters, ranking among China's highest-level and largest comprehensive events in the agricultural and food industry. Jilin's exhibition group presented products across nine categories, including ginseng, lingzhi spore powder, bee products, black fungus, rice, fresh edible corn, flour, coarse grains, and lamb, all sourced from authorized producers listed in the national registry of specialty agricultural products.

Hailing from the fertile black soil of Northeast China and the ecological treasure trove of Changbai Mountain, Jilin's exhibited agricultural products attracted significant attention from buyers and visitors due to their unique ecological advantages and superior quality.

At the expos, the health benefits of Fusong ginseng and Ji'an wild ginseng, the high active components in Fusong lingzhi spore powder, the smooth texture of Huangsongdian black fungus, the refreshing sweetness of Ji'an white peaches, and the rich anthocyanins in Tonghua blueberries were highlighted. Additionally, the plump grains of Chagan Lake rice and Fuyu rice, the sweet juiciness of Fuyu fresh corn, Qian'an sticky corn, and Tonghua fresh corn, the crispy nutrition of Fuyu four-grain red peanuts, the tender flavor of Qian'an lamb, the mellow taste of Ningjiang aged vinegar, the natural sweetness of Ji'an linden honey, the soft aroma of Tongyu millet, the health benefits of Dongchang cold-climate rose tea, the natural nourishment of Ji'an royal jelly and bee pollen, and the tonic effects of Tonghua black ginseng drew numerous professional buyers for consultations and tastings.

Many buyers from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area noted that the "cold region black soil" and "ecological organic" attributes of Jilin's agricultural products align well with the region's consumption upgrade demands. They expressed hopes for long-term cooperation to bring more high-quality Jilin products to dining tables in Guangdong.

In recent years, Jilin Province has continuously advanced the cultivation of nationally recognized specialty agricultural products. Currently, 82 products from the province are included in the national registry, with 245 authorized production and operation entities covering livestock, fruits, vegetables, grains, condiments, and medicinal herbs.

This participation represents a key step for Jilin's agriculture to actively connect with the consumer market of the Greater Bay Area. Moving forward, the province plans to use these expos as an opportunity to deepen production-marketing cooperation with Guangdong and other regions, continually expanding the national market channels for "Jilin Brand" agricultural products and enabling more premium specialties to reach broader markets from the black soil of Northeast China.

During the expos, the Jilin delegation will also participate in supporting events such as billion-yuan order matching conferences and brand agriculture exchange activities organized by the hosts, engaging in one-on-one negotiations with national buyers to foster substantive cooperation intentions for exhibited products.

The expos will continue until April 12 and are expected to attract numerous domestic and international professional buyers for visits and procurement.
