Data released by the National Bureau of Statistics shows that in March, the national Consumer Price Index (CPI) rose by 1.0% year-on-year, continuing a moderate upward trend. The core CPI, which excludes food and energy prices, increased by 1.1% compared to the same period last year.
Influenced by factors such as the rapid rise in international commodity prices and improved supply-demand dynamics in certain domestic industries, the Producer Price Index (PPI) increased by 1.0% month-on-month and rose by 0.5% year-on-year.
