ReNew Energy Global's stock soared 5.05% during Monday's intraday trading session, following the release of its fourth quarter and full fiscal year 2026 results.
The significant price movement appears to be driven by the company's better-than-expected quarterly performance. ReNew reported Q4 earnings per share of $0.02, beating the analyst consensus estimate of $0.01 by 100 percent. Quarterly sales of $421 million also surpassed expectations of $298.7 million by approximately 41 percent.
Furthermore, the company announced its highest ever annual net profit, which more than doubled year-over-year to INR 10.39 billion for the full fiscal year. Positive forward guidance for FY27, including expectations to complete construction of 1.6 to 2.4 GWs of capacity, likely contributed to investor optimism.
