On September 22, InCabin Europe 2026, a leading technical exhibition focused on intelligent cockpits and in-cabin sensing technology, officially opened in Barcelona, Spain. MINIEYE (02431) made its debut at the event, unveiling the safety assessment model Driver Functional Readiness (DFR) for the European market and showcasing the overseas version of its cockpit large-model assistant, BamBam, presenting a full-stack product portfolio covering both intelligent driving and intelligent cockpit solutions. This participation not only served as an important window for MINIEYE to display its capabilities in intelligent cockpits, multimodal interaction, and large-model technology, but also highlighted the company's global mass-production achievements and overseas expansion practices, further deepening its European market presence and promoting Chinese intelligent vehicle technology on the global stage.

At the InCabin Europe 2026 booth, MINIEYE unveiled the DFR safety assessment model, building a next-generation in-cabin active safety system. As European automotive safety regulations continue to evolve, the E-NCAP 2026 framework imposes higher standards for occupant safety across all vehicle passengers. Currently, MINIEYE has completed adaptation to the E-NCAP 2026 regulations, and the related solutions have entered the implementation phase. Leveraging vision and radar fusion technology, the company can achieve Child Presence Detection (CPD) functionality, covering multiple scenarios including forward-facing and rear-facing child safety seats, providing comprehensive protection for all vehicle occupants. Beyond meeting existing regulatory requirements, MINIEYE has further anticipated future driver fatigue assessment strategies and exclusively launched the in-cabin safety evaluation model DFR (Driver Functional Readiness) at this exhibition, establishing a next-generation in-cabin active safety architecture.

Traditional Driver Monitoring Systems (DMS) commonly rely on surface-level indicators such as eye closure and yawning to make judgments, which are insufficient for assessing a driver's actual driving capability. In contrast, DFR integrates multidimensional inputs including arousal level, cognitive load, sustained vigilance, and distraction behavior to comprehensively evaluate the driver's current cognitive and motor execution abilities, redefining the overall functional readiness of a driver for safe operation and vehicle takeover, while outputting a DFR 0-3 level graded closed-loop intervention strategy. Built on its dual-pillar focus of intelligent driving and intelligent cockpit development, MINIEYE is actively exploring collaborative paradigms between cockpit and ADAS systems, conducting technical research on intervention timing and strategies to drive efficient coordination between intelligent driving and cockpit systems, thereby unlocking greater vehicle-wide safety value. Additionally, for high-risk driving scenarios such as drunk driving, MINIEYE has simultaneously introduced a driver intoxication state detection solution. This solution establishes a personal sober behavior baseline for the driver, integrating DMS visual features such as eye movement and head posture, along with vehicle driving condition data reflected by the vehicle's CAN bus. By comparing against the sober baseline and combining with a risk assessment model, it can identify driving capability impairment caused by alcohol.

The European debut of the overseas version of BamBam marks the arrival of a cockpit intelligent agent that better understands users. Strengthening comprehensive in-cabin safety capabilities is just the starting point; cockpit experience is becoming a core decision-making factor for European consumers when purchasing vehicles, and the industry's AI wave has fully transitioned from simple command-based interaction to a new era of intelligent agents. In response to this industrial transformation, MINIEYE showcased for the first time at this exhibition the European-localized version of its cockpit large-model assistant BamBam, complete with live vehicle demonstrations on site. Unlike traditional voice assistants, BamBam leverages in-cabin sensing and large-model capabilities to recognize occupant states, autonomously think, and execute complex tasks, delivering a more proactive and personalized cockpit experience for users.

Currently, BamBam has broken down the boundaries between human, vehicle, home, and office scenarios, achieving seamless collaboration across multiple intelligent agents to provide users with a continuous and intelligent experience across all contexts. In business travel and office scenarios, leveraging AI logical reasoning and multimodal interaction, users can handle complex tasks such as replying to emails and booking flights and hotels via natural voice while in the vehicle. In home-returning scenarios, a single voice command can remotely activate smart home devices. For immersive entertainment, it offers interactive gaming capabilities to enrich fragmented moments during in-vehicle waiting or rest periods.

Building on the three core application scenarios, the overseas version of BamBam has newly added driver gaze-based out-of-vehicle target recognition and interaction functionality. Utilizing driver eye-tracking and external environment recognition capabilities, BamBam can conduct information interaction and provide explanatory assistance regarding road targets within the driver's field of view, such as offering introductions and commentary on buildings along the route. With the continuous advancement of VLM technology, BamBam will completely break through the functional boundaries of production-stage vehicles, dynamically optimizing service strategies based on user behavior profiles and usage feedback to create a highly personalized driving experience. At the same time, it anticipates users' potential needs, achieving a leap from "people searching for functions" to "services proactively arriving." In terms of added value, it transitions from an emphasis on IQ to a balance between IQ and EQ, using affective computing to perceive occupant emotional states and deliver humanized, empathetic interaction feedback, creating a warmer, more user-centric intelligent cockpit space.

Beyond large-model and active safety technologies, MINIEYE also presented its full-stack product portfolio at InCabin Europe 2026, which garnered widespread industry attention. The showcased products, including the iPilot 4 Lite ADAS domain controller, iCabin 1X DMS integrated unit, and OMS camera, cover end-to-end requirements from assisted driving to in-cabin applications, with all products developed with compliance and practical implementation as core priorities, providing global customers with available, practical, and user-friendly solutions.

As of the first half of this year, MINIEYE has established mass-production partnerships with over 40 automakers and has steadily entered the "steering direct navigation" phase of overseas expansion 2.0, directly delivering full-stack solutions to overseas Tier 1 suppliers. While continuing to deepen its presence in the European market, the company is also proactively expanding into emerging markets such as India, with overseas project types and cooperation models becoming increasingly diverse. The mature mass-produced products showcased at this exhibition, such as the iCabin 1 series DMS hardware-software integrated solutions, have already been integrated into multiple export models sold to regions including the European Union, Australia, Mexico, Singapore, South Korea, Dubai, and Turkey.

Europe is a significant market for the global automotive industry, with high requirements in areas such as intelligent vehicle technology, automotive safety regulations, and user experience. Targeting the European market, MINIEYE will continue to adhere to its development strategy of "regulation-first, localization adaptation, and mass-production implementation," closely aligning with local regulations, user needs, and driving scenarios to accelerate the iteration and validation of intelligent driving and cockpit products, further strengthening product adaptation and service capabilities in the European market. From the DFR safety assessment model to the overseas AI cockpit assistant BamBam; from comprehensive occupant safety protection to drunk driving risk detection, MINIEYE is continuously driving the evolution of intelligent cockpits from "functional intelligence" to "system intelligence" and from "passive response" to "proactive understanding." Looking ahead, MINIEYE will leverage its existing overseas experience, global cooperation network, and localization layout to continue deepening collaboration with global automakers and industry partners, promoting the implementation of AI large models, in-cabin sensing, and active safety technologies across more vehicle models and markets. The company aims to provide global automotive customers with safer, smarter, more practical, and sustainably iterable products and solutions, jointly exploring greater possibilities for the development of intelligent vehicles.
