On the afternoon of April 23, Kuaishou E-commerce presented its latest platform achievements during a merchant conference ahead of the 618 shopping event. According to the announcement, in the fourth quarter of 2025, the number of new merchants joining the platform increased by 24% compared to the previous quarter. The success rate for first-time sales among merchants reached 70%, while overall GMV from new merchants grew by 85% quarter-over-quarter. Additionally, the number of new merchants achieving GMV exceeding 1.5 million yuan rose by 43% compared to the prior quarter.
Kuaishou E-commerce stated that since the beginning of this year, the platform has been supporting new merchants throughout their entire lifecycle—from onboarding and initial setup to growth and scaling—through favorable policies, operational tools, business safeguards, and promotional activities. During the upcoming 618 shopping festival, the platform will further assist small and medium-sized merchants in achieving sales peaks by introducing a series of incentive programs involving both traffic support and cash rewards.
